Why use injectors for structural wood and/or masonry treatments?
Manufactured from recycled material, the injectors have a ball-type anti-return system, allowing high-pressure injection of a large quantity of product with a perfect seal. Caution the maximum recommended pressure (1 to 60 bars) may vary depending on the type of structure and its condition.
WOOD INJECTORS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR
Timber and wood treatments. The timber frame treatment by injection is the solution against termites! But also against xylophagous larvae (Old-house borer, Common furniture beetle, House Longhorn Beetle, Powderpost beetle and other woodworms), dry rot and molds (Serpula Lacrymans, etc.)..
WALL INJECTORS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR
Wall and slab treatments by injection, to treat rising damp, dry rot and molds (Serpula Lacrymans, etc.). But also for leak / seal injection, waterproofing. filling cavities, concrete slab injection, strengthening of structures and concrete crack repair.
What are the advantages of MABI injectors?
- INJECTOR WITH DOUBLE COLLAR : Avoids ovalization to provide a perfect tightness during injection.
- INJECTOR WITH DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS : Optimize the homogeneous spreading of the product, with high pressure and without back flow.
- ONE-WAY SYSTEM : Allows the injection of a large quantity of product, with high pressure and without backflow.
How to choose the injectors?
Each injector or mechanical injection packer has different characteristics:
- Type (Kind of connection): To fasten your hose or gun on the injection packer, the top part could be:
- Zerk fitting / With head / Nipple grease nipple / Moulded round head nipple
- Button Head / Flat head
- Pneumatic head / Air plug
- Without head
- Diameter:
In most construction materials, the size of the drilled hole equals the outer diameter of the mechanical packer: use a 12mm drill bit for a 12mm packer. MABI range of injectors goes from 6.5 mm to 18 mm.
- Length
Sizes of our injection ports vary from 15 mm to 80 mm.
- Check-valve
Depending on your application, you choose an injection packer with free passage, a 3mm anti-return valve or a 6mm ball valve.
How to choose the injectors?
WOOD FRAME MABI INJECTOR
- Diameter 9.5 mm
- Length 37 mm
- Kind of connection : without head
- Color available : beige, white, brown
Equipped with a patented anti-ovalization system which ensures the internal sealing of the injector in contact with the injection tip: the cone of the tip perfectly fits the internal surface of the injector even in an oval drilled hole. With no need of a strong pressure from the applicator, it avoids the unpleasant splashing of products. Use a drill bit diameter 9.5 mm and a male injection tip. After completing the wood treatment you can hide the injectors with a cap (the caps also allow reinjection)
WOOD MABI INJECTOR
- Diameter 6.5 mm
- Length : 15 mm or 21mm
- Kind of connection : without head
- Color available : brown, white, beige
It is recommended for the injection of product in the smallest wood section (half-perimeter lower than 17 cm).
With no need of a strong pressure from the applicator, it avoids the unpleasant splashing of products.
Use a 6.5 mm diameter drill bit and a male injection tip. After completing the wood treatment you can hide the injectors with a cap (the caps also allow reinjection) or a wood-dowel.
MASONRY MABI INJECTOR

Convenient: use the same male injection tip as for the Wood Mabi injectors. After completing the masonry treatment you can hide the injectors with a cap (the caps also allow reinjection)
MASONRY MABI INJECTOR WITH HEAD

The moulded round head nipple or grease nipple allows to hooked on your injection tip properly to the injection-packer and limit the risk of leaks.
MASONRY MABI INJECTOR WITH HEAD 18 MM

The moulded round head nipple or grease nipple allows to hooked on your injection tip properly to the injection-packer and limit the risk of leaks.
The design of the top part of this packer has been made to protect the zerk fitting and to enable a hiding cap.
HIGH-PRESSURE MABI INJECTION-PACKER

- Pressure : from 1 to 150 bars
Recommended for concrete crack repair. The installation is simple and effective, we advise you to insert the anchoring sleeves in each drilled hole, using a hammer until a perfect fit. With a mounting tool, hammer strongly the injection-packer into each anchoring sleeve. The anchoring sleeve expands and firmly holds all together.
For vertical cracks, seal the crack in surface with a waterproof material to avoid the resin to come out.
METAL HIGH PRESSURE INJECTION PACKER
- Diameter injection packer: 10 mm or 14 mm
- Length: 100 mm or 110 mm
- Connection: with grease nipple
- Material: steel + aluminium
- Injection pressure : from 20 to 250 bars
Steel and aluminum mechanical injection packers are recommended for the injection of one-component and two-component resins for concrete waterproofing and concrete crack repair.
When installing the injection-packer, the sealing rubber part inflates for a perfect hold of the packer in the concrete support.
